The most noticeable architectural element in the new Las Vegas City Hall is the unique, free-flowing ribbons of wood lining the interior walls. The six rows of serpentine-shaped acoustical panels disrupt emanating sound—a major design objective of the project. The attention-grabbing solution is Curvalon, the custom-shaped veneered panels that can be created in concave, convex, or compound curve configurations.
